So, grab a bowl and let’s dive into the simple pleasure of homemade comfort food.
Start by adding 1 quart of canned tomatoes to a medium pot or sauce pan. Ensure there is enough liquid to cover nearly all of the tomatoes.
Then add 1.5 Tbs minced garlic, 2 tsp onion powder, 1 Tbs dried Basil, 0.5 Tbs parsley, 0.5 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp pepper to the pot of tomatoes.
Bring to a boil. Then leave to simmer for 10 minutes.
Blend with immersion blender until you reach the desired consistency
